Description | This workshop was intended for intermediate and advanced animation students who wished to pursue independent animation projects within a classroom environment. The weekly meetings were structured around providing creative, critical, and technical support for the participants. All participants were required to present their work to the group several times during the semester, and these reviews were complemented with readings, screenings, and other assignments as appropriate. Students interested in the workshop had to demonstrate a level of mastery over their medium as well as course evaluations in prerequisite areas. Students were allowed to work collaboratively as long as each student had a distinct role and responsibility in the proposed project. Prerequisite: As noted above, students interested in the workshop had to demonstrate a level of mastery over their medium as well as course evaluations in prerequisite areas. |
