Description | In this combined technique and theory course, students pursued the physical practice of Haitian dance techniques alongside the study of Haitian history and culture. The class met bi-weekly, one class day focusing on discussion and one on dancing. Students were required to actively participate in learning Haitian dance technique, participate in weekly discussions about the assigned materials, write regular Moodle posts, turn in four Unit Reading Responses, pursue an independent research project with both written and creative components, and attend two “outside events” related to course themes. |
