Description | Students in this course will be exposed to the process of designing and creating web pages, following some of the most commonly used technologies used in real-life scenarios: Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Successful students will therefore learn both how to build web pages and how to create simple programs. The course will begin by exposing students to the process by which a web client and a web server talk to each other, and where the different pieces necessary for this communication are located. We will then move to building web pages, focusing both on web page look and feel as well as the underlying code. No previous computer programming experience is assumed. |
