Description

Students in this 5 week mini-course explored the local area while learning about for wild edible plants. Students learned plant identification, ethical harvesting techniques, and preparing wild edibles. Backcountry cooking, fires, aquatic canoeing, and preserving were also covered. A final project highlighting a specific wild food was completed.
