Additional InfoLab Fee $65. Prerequisites: Art History or Photographic History course or prior course work in Film, Video, Photography or Studio Arts. In this course, students are expected to spend 12 hours weekly in preparation and work outside of class time.
Description

This course was a thorough introduction to color photography. Weekly project-based assignments and critiques addressed students' aesthetic and technical progress; readings and discussions introduced students to historical and contemporary art practices, with an emphasis on current photographic theory. Lab sessions covered a range of techniques including the nuances of color, color film, digital capture, color management and archival inkjet printing. An additional lab workshop met once a week for two hours.
