Description | This course was a thorough introduction to color photography. Weekly project-based assignments and critiques addressed students' aesthetic and technical progress; readings and discussions introduced students to historical and contemporary art practices, with an emphasis on current photographic theory. Lab sessions covered a range of techniques including the nuances of color, color film, digital capture, color management and archival inkjet printing. An additional lab workshop met once a week for two hours. |
