Description | This seminar was specifically designed for Division III students studying topics in all fields of the natural sciences including conservation, restoration, resource management, modeling, systems analysis, etc. Each student led a discussion about their Division III project. They provided background materials to inform the discussion including primary research articles, excerpts from their Division III projects, etc. This seminar had a workshop format in which students critically read each other's work and provided constructive feedback and suggestions. At the end of the semester, each student gave a final presentation of their work and received feedback on their presentation. The seminar provided a collaborative environment for students working independently on research projects. |
